Linda R. Pitts

Linda R. Pitts was born September 12, 1942 in Madisonville, KY to the late John & Goldie Vaughn Baxter. She accepted Christ at an early age and attended Temple of Praise where she served on the Mothers Board. She loved working puzzles, working in her flower garden, watching UK Basketball and wrestling. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband; Elder Hershel Pitts; brothers: Elder Harold Baxter, Elder John W. Baxter; grandson: Antonio (Tony) Baxter.

Linda leaves behind to cherish her memories, 2 daughters: Cynthia Hughes (Jeff), Kay Baxter; 2 sons: Harvey D. McFarland, Albert (Big Al) McFarland; grandchildren: Richard Mayes, Jr. of Danville, VA, Ashley Hopgood of Rochester, NY, Deonte Mayes, Amanda McFarland of Madisonville, Deja Hightower of Clarksville, TN, Travis Frazier of Henderson KY, Albert McFarland II, Ashley Poindexter; sister in law: Pearlie Baxter; 16 great grandchildren.
