Lester P. Day Jr.

Lester P. Day, Jr., 64, of Henderson, formerly of Madisonville, KY, passed away at his home on July 9, 2015. He was born Dec. 23, 1950 to Lester Day, Sr. and Lucy Christine Day. He accepted Christ at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he was a member of the Brotherhood Choir. He was employed at Stemaly Excavating in Evansville, IN. He is survived by his mother; Children: Sherry Day, Yolanda Day, Shawn Day, all of Madisonville, KY, Tyreceo Day of Evansville, IN; Grandchildren: Bria Day of Henderson, KY and Von Shea Matchem of Madisonville, KY; Brothers: Danny Day, Ralph Jerome Day (Yvonne) both of Madisonville, Kent Allen Day of Terre Haute, IN; Sisters: Janette Foster Lindsey and Judy Foster (James) both of Clarksville, Tennessee; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services are Saturday July 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Madisonville, KY with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will be at Eastside Oddfellows Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Mason Brothers Audubon Chapel, Henderson, KY.
