Leroy "Bo Peep" Smallings

Leroy “Bo Peep” Smallings, age 69, was born in Evansville, Indiana on July 1, 1946. He was very devoted to his mother, Anna Smallings.

“Bo-Peep” attended Central High School. He worked many jobs through the years including a position at Berry Plastics, horse training, various cooking positions, and many more.

“Bo Peep” described himself as a “ladies’ man,” a boxer, fun-loving, and a straight-up talker. His family recognized that he was strong in tolerating pain, strong physically, and strong in his faith. He was baptized at Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church.

“Bo Peep” is survived by a son, Kareem Smallings; a daughter, Kim Wisnewski; a sister, Hattie Walker; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He left this world on September 30, 2015 while at Park Terrace Village Nursing Home. He will be missed!
