Lelia Mae Gregory

Lelia Mae Gregory, age 90, of Madisonville KY, passed away August 19, 2018 at her home. Lelia was born in Hopkins County, Kentucky in 1927 to William and Mary Magdeline Doniel. She was a devoted mother and faithful member of Flower Grove Baptist Church where she served in the Culinary Department and sang in the choir. Earlier in life, she worked at the Island Creek Coal Company.

Lelia leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Mary Bostick; one Goddaughter, Lelia M. Mitchell of Hinesville GA; five nieces: Sheila Carter, Diana (Donaldson) Adams, Mary Doniel, Gloria (Leslie) Gregory, and Cynthia Gibbons; three nephews: James (Valerie) Hyde, Douglas Doniel, and Ben (Erica) Doniel; 19 great nieces; 18 great-great nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018, at 1:00pm at Flower Grove Baptist Church, 720 South Franklin Street in Madisonville KY. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at the church.
