Lee Ann Collier

Lee Ann (Poochie) Collier- Johnson 56, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on 10/21/2024 from an anoxic brain injury at Deaconess Gateway Heart Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. Lee was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, and graduated from Arlington High School in 1986. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. She loved her children dearly and enjoyed her little big brother under the same roof as her these last 5 months. She began to get into gardening, knitting, coloring, and being around her grandkids as much as possible. A friend to many, she was a cherished member of the community in Indianapolis and Evansville, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength. We are going to miss you Poochie so much, but we are glad you are in a better place resting peacefully. We love you, Mommy!

Lee Ann was preceded in death by Jerry T. Johnson Sr. (Father) and Clemie J. Johnson (Mother). She is survived by Courtney Price (Daughter), Brittney Johnson (Daughter), Eric Collier (Son); Jerry T. Johnson (Brother), Demetria L. Johnson (Sister-n-Law), Michael Johnson (Brother), Johnann Johnson (Sister-n-Law), Emma Johnson (Sister), Jerimiah T. Johnson (Nephew), Bayleigh Johnson (Niece), Trinity Collier (Granddaughter), Eric Collier Jr. (Grandson), Elijah Collier (Grandson), Kylen Collier (Grandson), Kingston Woods (Grandson), Paxton Collier (Grandson), Samiyah Owens (Granddaughter).

As per Lee Ann’s request, no funeral service will be held.

We request the joy of your company in all different shades of green, as that was Poochie’s favorite color reflecting her vibrant spirit.
