Laura Belle Hill

Laura Belle Watson Hill, 103, went home to be with the Lord January 30, 2018. She was a domestic worker for many years but retired after 30 years from the Henderson Country Club. She was a faithful member Seventh St. Baptist Church where she was a member of the Mothers Board and sang in the Senior Choir. She joined Seventh Street under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Anthony Brooks whom she adored. Laura loved her church family and they loved her in return. She enjoyed cooking especially for family and friends.
Laura is preceded in death by husband Willie Hill, Sr.; parents: Garfield Watson and Zella Carter Watson Hazelwood.
Laura is survived by her son: Walter Wilcox of Evansville; stepson: Willie Hill Jr. of Florida; brothers: Graham Hazelwood of Evansville and George Hazelwood of Henderson; sister Mattie Hazelwood of Henderson; granddaughter: Barbara Wilcox of Henderson; grandsons: Christopher and Gregory Wilcox both of Evansville; great granddaughters: Twilla and Titania (David) of Henderson; 6 great great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Services are Sat. Feb 3, 2018 at 12:00 at Seventh Street Baptist Church with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service. Burial in Fernwood. Mason Brothers Audubon Chapel is entrusted with care. Leave condolences at www.masonbrothersfs.com .
