La Darius Ed’Triyon Roby was born September 22, 1996 to Loretha Stokes and Eddie Earl Roby in Columbus, Mississippi. On Friday November 3, 2017, he went home to be with his Lord & Saviour.
He attended Noxubee High School in Macon, Mississippi. He loved music and had a natural talent for engineering music, singing, and rapping. He was well known for his music and was called ‘Blocka’ by many. His reputation was such that he was a much sought-after partner in writing and engineering music. La Darius also enjoyed writing poetry and spending time with his family and friends. He had a special relationship with his step-dad, Earnest Mason, who helped raise him to be a respectful, well-mannered man.
La Darius was baptized in 2003 at Nazarene Baptist Church. He joined Mt. Carmel Baptist Church after moving back to Macon, Mississippi. He later joined Emmanuel Baptist Church where he sang in the choir and participated in youth activities. LaDarius was instrumental in getting the rest of his family involved in church.
La Darius worked at Shuqualak Lumber in Shuqualak, Mississippi, and Fibertech Plastics in Elberfeld, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather: Claude Bill Stokes; his Paw-Paw: Sylvester Bryant; aunt: Lennie Brown.
La Darius leaves to cherish fond and loving memories, his mother: Loretha Stokes; step-father: Earnest Mason; 2 brothers: E’Dalvion Roby, Emarion Roby; 2 sisters: Amyah Roby, Ekhiaa Elliyah Roby; step-brother: La Darius King; step-sister: Camri Mason; grandmothers: Annie Bryant, Stella Wells; uncle: Claude Bill Stokes, Jr.; father: Eddie Earl Roby (Laquita); a host of cousins, other family and friends.
