Kenneth Leroy Norman, Sr., age 65, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville IN.

Leroy was born to Leora and the late Kenneth William Norman. He was born September 16, 1951 in Evansville IN. He came to know Christ at an early age and attended Little Valley Baptist Church. Leroy played basketball at Lincoln High School and went to Central High School to play basketball there. He joined the US Navy immediately following graduation.

Leroy worked at Chrysler in St. Louis, MO for many years as an inspector. He lived in St. Louis for many years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth William Norman; his sisters: Kathy L. Norman and Paula L. McGill; his brother, Ira A. Norman; and his grandparents: Goldie and Tolbert McGill.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons: Kenneth L. Norman, Jr., Sevreuno Norman, and Adam Norman; his unconditionally loving mother, Leora Norman of Evansville IN; his sisters: Frances M. Norman, Iris A. Norman, and Marian G. McGill; his brothers: Judge (Darlene) Merriweather, Lester L. Norman, George R. (Cheryl) Grooms, Steven J. Grooms, and Milton J. (Stephanie) Norman; his great aunt, Odie M. Haskins; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held Friday, April 29, 2016 at 12:00 noon at Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel with visitation from 10:00am until service time. Burial in Oakhill Cemetery. Condolences may be left at www.masonbrothersfs.com
