Keith Douglas Johnson

January 22, 1952 — February 23, 2017

Keith D. Johnson, , age 65, died on Thursday February 23, 2017. He was the eldest child born to the late Louise Moore and James Johnson. He graduated from Reitz High School and entered into the United States Army. After receiving an honorable discharge, he returned home and became employed at Alcoa Warrick Operations where he was an Ingot Castor. He loved all sports and enjoyed playing on the Alcoa basketball team. He retired in 2014 after 40 years of service.

Keith’s idea of relaxation was to sit back and enjoy the old black & white western movies on television. He also liked to play cards, especially Bid Whist and Spades. One of his many talents was to cook and barbecue. He could cook all kinds of food but he had a special talent for baking the most delicious cakes! His greatest joy, however, was singing to his grandchildren.

Keith leaves to cherish fond memories a daughter: Tiara Johnson; son: Marcus Mockobee; brothers: Larry Johnson, Jerome Johnson, Ronnie Johnson, Donnie Johnson, David Johnson; sister: Rosemary Hawkins; 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
