Keith was born on March 7, 1960, and passed away on September 11, 2022. He was born to James and Francelle Baker. He attended Famous Lincoln Elementary and Harrison High School.
He was an Evansville resident for most of his life. After acquiring his Chef’s training and skills he was provided opportunities at several local restaurants. Additionally, he became the head chef at a major hotel in Olney Illinois. Prior to the pandemic, Keith returned home to the warm embrace of his family. He loved preparing and sharing his special and unique dishes at family gatherings. His love for sporting events, fishing, CNN news, and current affairs provided him with hours of enjoyment.
He loved the Lord and trusted God. Every challenge that he faced in life Keith knew that God was always with him. Even during the most difficult times of his life when he saw one set of footprints, he knew that it was God who was carrying him.
Keith was preceded in death by his father James Baker and sister Jeanette.
He is survived by his loving mother: Francelle Baker; four children: Keith Jr., Teneshia, Jeremy, and LaShawnda; sisters: Evelyn Rhodes of Los Angeles CA, Jocelyn and Jenilia Baker; brothers; Antonio Hawkins, James and Demetrick Baker, and James (snook) Baker. He also leaves to mourn grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. His void will be felt by numerous friends, acquaintances, and extended family members.
