Karl Edward Haley born March 25, 1957 in Tacoma, Washington to Arthur Haley and Ella Mae Stewart Hale, passed away on January 27, 2021 in his home in Clarksville, TN.
Karl Edward Haley accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized at Bible Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Oakland, CA. He joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Earlington, KY for a time, but later became a member of Miracle Deliverance House of Prayer in Hopkinsville, KY.
Karl was a graduate of Skyline High School in Oakland, CA. He served in the Army and later became as a sous chef. At the time of his passing, Karl was employed at Companion Care in Clarksville, TN. Despite these other occupations, his first and truest love was music. Karl blessed various ministries with his incredible musical gifts. In his spare time he could easily be found singing, playing, or writing music. He also enjoyed fishing.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother.
Karl leaves to cherish his memory, legacy of music, and incredible sense of humor, sons: Christopher (Nashville, TN) and Michael (Madisonville, KY); daughters, Leah (Lexington, KY) and Anna-Stacia (Lexington, KY); sister: Dr. Eleanor Haley (Oakland, CA); uncle: Rev. Christopher Stewart (Oakland, CA); godmother: Maxine Miller (Richmond, CA); godbrother: Myron Miller (Richmond, CA); and other cousins in Oakland.
Services will be Friday, February 5, 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Earlington, KY. There will be a walk-thru visitation on Friday, February 5, 10:00 a.m. - noon at Mason and Sons Funeral Home, Madisonville, KY.
Masks are required and social distancing will be practiced.
