Janice L. Thomas

Janice L. Thomas, 62, was born August 23, 1959 to Lottie Mae Carter-Harvell and Robert T. Thomas in Evansville, IN. She attended Lincoln and Glenwood schools where she loved participating in the track Special Olympics held in Indianapolis.

Janice was blessed with a large and loving family. She enjoyed the simple things in life such as dancing, watching wrestling, lottery scratch-offs, spending time with children, working crossword puzzles, and knitting very much.

Janice was the eldest granddaughter to Marion and Ida Mae Carter who are both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her father: Robert Thomas; little sister: Katherine Thomas; niece: Olympia “Gale” Harrell; and great-nephew: Edward Lee III.

She is survived by her fiance’: John Williams of Clarksville, TN; sister: Peggie Thomas (Wendell); brothers: Teddy and Terry Cosby, Wayne (Dale) and Johnnie (Samantha) Thomas; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins of Evansville, IN; and six cherished goldfish.
