James Albert Torain, Jr., age 59 of Earlington KY and son of James and Wendell Torain, was born October 31, 1956 in Madisonville, Kentucky. He departed this life, May 8, 2016 at his home.
James was the second eldest and only son of his parents. He was a member at Wesley Chapel CME Church and graduated from Madisonville High School. He attended Bowling Green Technical College and obtained a degree in Electronics. James specialized in martial arts and karate. He became the owner of Bargain Seekers 2, working with merchandise wholesale.
He leaves to cherish fond memories, two daughters: Natasha Murray of Lexington KY and Jamie Torain of Bowling Green KY; one grandson, LeQuentin Flippin and one grand-daughter, JazMyne Flippin – both of Bowling Green KY; three sisters: Rosezina Bard of Flint MI, Sharon Torain of Louisville KY, Vanita Torain Johnson of Fort Myers FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Services will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 1:00pm at Mason & Sons Funeral Home in Madisonville KY with visitation from 11:00am until service time also at the funeral home. Burial in Eastside Odd Fellows Cemetery. Condolences may be left at
