Jacqueline Denise Robinson

Jacqueline “Jackie” Denise (Agnew) Robinson transitioned on May 17, 2024, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital, surrounded by her beloved daughters. Born on February 11, 1964, in Henderson, KY, to William O. Agnew Sr. and Rovanna B. Agnew. Jackie gave her life to Christ and was baptized at an early age. She was a devoted member of Watkins Temple COGIC, where she served faithfully in various capacities.

Jackie was a devoted wife to her late husband, Anthony “Tony” Robinson for over 25 years.  She was a dedicated homemaker, renowned for her culinary skills and generosity in feeding the community. She had a talent for writing poetry, which she used to uplift and encourage others despite facing her own mental health challenges. Her presence was a source of laughter and joy, and she had a profound love for helping and serving others. Jackie cherished her daughters and grandchildren and treasured the time spent with her family. She enjoyed spreading the good news of Jesus, cooking, listening to music, talking on the phone, attending church, writing poems, and serving her community before her health declined, leading to her residency at Majestic Care Nursing Home.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Anthony “Tony” Robinson; sister, Cynthia Johnson; and sister-in-law, Latonya Poole.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughters, Cassandra Raine-Francis (Gregory Francis) and Carlada Patterson (Shamario); step-daughter, Vanessa Tramill; five grandchildren, Deanna Raine, Denae Raine, Alivia Wilburn, Greyson Francis, and Sophia Patterson; her brother, William Agnew Jr. (Laquesha); like-parents, George & Alma Flowers Sr.; like-sisters, Lenora Hawes (Theron) and Rajean Wagner (Keith); aunt, Lucille Whitlock; uncle, James Ollie Agnew; sisters-in-law, Karen Houghton (Bobby) and Carla Robinson Gimmerson (DeWayne); brother-in-law, Everette Nunn (Nina); and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
