Herschel “BB” Corbin was born July 1st 1956 in Cincinnati, OH to the blessed union of Jesse C. Corbin Sr. and Chassella J. Merriwether Corbin. He departed this life on Feb 16th 2017. Herschel loved his family, friends and his community. He came up through the Cincinnati Catholic School system, and accepted Christ at the early age of 6. Afterwards he attended Robert A. Taft High School.
After high school Herschel was gainfully employed at the Partridge Meat Packing Co., and was also in the restaurant business for many years. He moved to Evansville, IN in the 1970’s to be near his mother Chassella, and has been there since. While in Evansville, he became a part of the community and did so by always helping his fellow man. He was a member of the Patchwork Central family where he found warm hearts and comfort, and often helped in the kitchen to serve others. Herschel enjoyed and didn’t mind helping others when they were in need.
Herschel loved and protected his family and friends. He was a son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend that was deeply loved and adored by us all. He was preceded in death by his mother Chassella J.
