Mr. Herbert Austin Tyler of the Pryorsburg, Kentucky community was born October 10, 1934 in Wingo, Kentucky at the old home place. He departed for his eternal home on September 18, 2019 at Mills Manor in Mayfield, Kentucky.
He graduated from Dunbar High School. He was joined in marriage to Marion Inez Paschall on November 14, 1955. He was a lifetime member of St. James AME Church of Pryorsburg. He retired from Ingersoll-Rand in 1999 after 27 years as a Maintenance Supervisor. He also worked at Bowden Cleaners, was a member of the Dept of Agriculture, a certified electrician, and a repairman for the community .
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Paschall Tyler; and his parents, Betrick (Buck) and Arlene MClure Tyler.
He leaves to cherish; his sons, Herbert Tyler, Jr. (Paulette) and Timothy Tyler (Willie); a sister, Peggy Tribble of Fulton, KY; a brother, William Paschall of Alaska; two grandsons, Richard B. Tyler and Joseph Ryan Tyler; two great-grandchildren, Kaylie Elizabeth Tyler and Konner Ryan Tyler; two nieces, Deborah Burns of Colorado Springs, CO and Theresa Amos of Fulton, KY; four nephews; a sister-in-law, Louise Paschall of California; two step grandchildren, Jana Clark and Chad Nolan, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, September 21, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at St. James AME of Mayfield, Kentucky. Visitation is at 10:00 a.m. until service time on September 21. Burial will be at New Bethel Cemetery.
