Herbert Irwin Moore II

Journey of Life
Herbert Irwin Moore II was born on December 21, 1986, at St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, California to parents Kimberly Ridgel-Andrews and Herbert Irwin Moore. He was the second of six children.

As a child, Herbert attended 96 street & Eshelman Avenue Elementary, Curtiss & Challenger Middle Schools, and Little Rock High School, all in California. He enjoyed playing football basketball, the drums rapping, and singing.

Herbert was a God-fearing man; he loved the Lord and his family. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Saviour at an early age and was Christened by Pastor Shipp at his childhood church home “Carson Community Deliverance Center” in Carson, California. He enjoyed attending church and loved serving as an usher and singing in the children’s choir. As an adult, Herbert joined Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Terry in Evansville, Indiana where he and his family were baptized in the name of Jesus.

Journey of Labor
To take care of his two daughters, his high school love Markelle Everidge, and his family he worked at Holiday Inn, Mead Johnson, Toyota, and Ascension St. Vincent Hospital all in the Tri-State area. As he matured into a handsome young man, he loved boxing in his free time.

Journey of Everlasting Life
On November 19, 2022, God dispatched an angel from heaven to take home and watch over our beloved son.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Henry D. Ridgel and Herbert Hoover Moore; grandmother: Mary Moore; stepdad: Arthur Andrews; uncles: Larry Jones, Earl Jones, Charles Moore, and Stevie Moore; aunts: Denise (Snookie) Rigel and Darlene Ridgel.
Herbert Irwin Moore II leaves to cherish his memory his mother: Kimberly Ridgel Andrews; daughters: Natia and Anaiyah Moore; sister; Kindra Williams; brothers: Antonio Porter, Henry Porter, Justine McMorris, Timothy Andrews, and Darnell Andrews; grandmother: Christine Ridgel; godmother: Angela Davis and god family Charlie & Linda Davis, Jr.; four nieces; six nephews; five aunts; three uncles; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends in California and Evansville, Indiana.
