Harold Edward Outlaw Jr. “Tyke”, 62, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Linda White Hospice House. He was born to Harold Edward Outlaw, Sr. and Grace Naomi Logan Outlaw in Evansville. He was a graduate of Harrison High School. Harold worked for many years for Strouse’s Clothing Store and later at Old National Bank until retirement.
No one who met Harold could forget his passion for his activities with the Golden Age Breakfast Club or his church. He was a proud lifelong member of Cleaves Memorial C.M.E. Church where he was an usher and sang in the Men’s Chorus. He attended Sunday School and church faithfully until his illness. He was always willing to help when he was able. Harold read current events in the newspaper and was also an avid viewer of CNN and MSNBC. He enjoyed discussing the latest political issues with his friends and church family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Sherri Lynn Clements.
Harold leaves to cherish his memory, his grandmother Grace Arnetta Logan; one sister: Sheila Outlaw; 3 brothers: Larry Outlaw, Michael Outlaw, Anthony Outlaw; and several nieces and nephews along with his church family. Graveside services are Friday, May 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with a walk-thru visitation on Thursday, May 7th from 4-6 p.m. at R. Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel. Leave condolences at
