Goree Thelma Smalls

Goree Thelma Fairrow Smalls, 62, the daughter of the late Leonard Johnson, Jr. and Verna May (Cookie) McElroy transitioned to her heavenly home on October 22, 2019 at 7:05 p.m. surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Smalls.
Goree graduated from Madisonville North Hopkins and attended Western Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY. Goree worked at G.E. for 23 years.
She enjoyed playing Bingo, playing poker with family and friends, and looking after her “boys”, Jaylenn and Kaden Martin. She loved going on vacation and sitting at the kitchen table in her favorite chair. She also really enjoyed cooking.
Goree leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters; Shamra Smalls of Madisonville, KY and Jamierann Smalls of Bowling Green, KY; her brother, Rodney (Angie) Martin of Augusta, GA; her sister, Leslie Hunt of Barnsley, KY; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many loved and devoted friends.
