Gerald Robinson

Gerald Robinson, son of the late Searl Robinson and Helen Suratt was born on May 9, 1940, in Evansville, IN. He departed this life on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at University Rehabilitation Center in Evansville, IN.

Gerald graduated from Lincoln High School and became employed at International Steel for 10 years. He later retired from Alcoa after working 34 years.

At an early age, Gerald accepted Christ and was an active member of New Hope Baptist Church in Evansville under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. W.R. Brown, Sr.

He was preceded in death by his mother: Helen Suratt; father: Searl Robinson; sisters: Annette Robinson and Holly Paulette Robinson; and son: Minister Anthony G. Robinson.

He leaves to cherish fond memories daughters: Karen Robinson and Carla Robinson; aunt: Ester Harris of Evansville; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren all of Evansville.
