George White Sr.

George White Sr. 71 of Madisonville, Ky passed away April 21st, 2023, in his
home. George White Sr. retired from Peabody Coal Co. and last worked for Hopkins
County board of education as a school bus driver.
George was preceded in death by his mother: Almeter White (Sharber) and his fathers: Lorandus Travis (LT) Stone and Leonard White; his first wife: Lynn D. White; his granddaughter: Anaya
White; his daughter: Latrise Johnson; his son: Donald (D.J) Johnson Jr.; and his
sisters: Jemella Riley and Olivia Grayson; his brothers: Edward Hopson, Arthur
Thomas Evans, James White, John White, and Benny White..
He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years: Stella White of Madisonville KY;
three daughters: Kristy Catlett of Madisonville KY, Chelsea Cottoner (White) of
Clarksville, TN, and Kelly Campbell of Indianapolis, IN; eight sons: Rodney
Blanton of Madisonville KY, George D. White Jr. of Madisonville KY, Reggie White
of Madisonville KY, Marlon Scisney of Evansville IN, Leonard White (Stephanie)
of Earlington KY, Matthew White (Ana) of Jacksonville FL, Terrence Williams of
San Francisco, CA, and Aaron Johnson of Dallas TX.; his sisters: Yvonne White of
Earlington KY, Wilma Noel (James) of Hendersonville, KY, Gloria Stone of
Earlington KY, and Charmaine Stone of Madisonville KY; his brothers: O’Neal
Stone (Aileen) of Earlington KY, Randy Stone of Louisville KY, and David Earl
Stone of Earlington KY; sister in law: Darlene White of Earlington, KY; and a
host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
