Franklin "Frank Netty" Williams

Franklin Edward Williams was born on December 13, 1953, in Evansville, Indiana, to the late Leander and Vera Williams. He passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Majestic Care Center in Newburgh, Indiana.

He was educated in the Evansville Vanderburgh County school system attending the old Howard Roosa and graduating from Bosse High School.

During his life, he worked for Franklin Ford Motor Company in Detroit, MI. When he returned home, he worked for BFI and The Community Action Program of Evansville in their weatherization program.

Franklin loved riding his motorcycle and going to the racetrack with his father to watch the horses. He also enjoyed participating in the sport of boxing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cathy Williams, and brothers, Willie Smith and Leander Williams, Jr. 

Franklin leaves to cherish his memory: son Jason Warfield and daughter Octavia Roach; sisters Betty Jo, Linda, and Marci; brothers Cedric and Donald Lee; six grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
