Frank Lewis Jr, of Evansville, IN, transitioned from earth to eternity, December 30, 2020. He was born on June 24, 1954 and was raised in Greenville, MS by his father Frank Lewis, Sr. and Grandmother Annie Pearl Lewis. After completing his education at T.L. Weston High School, he went on to serve in the United States Army. Upon receiving an honorable discharge from the military, Frank attended Mississippi Delta Junior College.
During his career, Frank worked at Bootz Manufacturing for several years before becoming employed at the T.J. Maxx Warehouse. He retired from there after his health prevented him from working.
Frank was known as a person who would help anyone in need. People were drawn to his outgoing personality and sense of humor. He enjoyed watching sports with his friends and family, especially football and basketball. Frank also loved spending time with his family and above all his grandchildren. Lately, Frank developed an interest in Bingo. In his last years as a resident, he was a regular attendee of the church services at Riverwalk.
Frank is survived by his Mother Figure: Ollie Mae Hudson; children: Twyla Brantley, Karlton Johnson (Kendrika), Mark Johnson (Maria), Kenitra Johnson; sister: Regina Matthews, and a host of grandchildren and relatives.
