Faithay "Faye" Hastie

Faithay “Faye” Louise Dortch Hastie, 73, passed away December 3, 2020. She was born April 6, 1947 in Erie, Tennessee to Benny Harshaw and Juanita (Dortch) Thomas, but raised in Evansville, Indiana.
She attended First Ebenezer Baptist Church. Faithay worked at Cut Rate Food Market and Good Samaritan Home. She enjoyed cooking, playing games, and making you laugh. “Faye” was a loving and caring daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt.
She is preceded in death by father: Benny Harshaw; daughter: Shelia Hastie Hill; brother: William Mitchell.
She leaves to cherish her memories, mother: Juanita Thomas; daughter: Ruby Hastie Hall (Charles); grandchildren: Shedarra Hill and Terri Denton; great grandchild: Tyraya Robertson; brothers: James Mitchell and Kenny Scott (Sharon); sisters: Mary Drake (Kaleigh) and Duanita Smith, and host of nieces, nephews, family, friends, and special friend: Randall Vincent.
