Eula Mae Holloman

September 2, 1919 — August 28, 2018

Eula Mae was born September 2, 1919, to the late Samuel David Stone and Essie Hogan Stone in Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee. She confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Earlington, KY. Affectionately known to some as Mother and others as Granny, Granny Eula or Mrs. Eula Mae, she learned the values of life and passed her legacy on.

Sister Eula spent her last moments Singing and Praising God as she received the call from our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 28, 2018.

Sister Holloman was the oldest living member at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She had served in the following ministries: Sanctuary Choir, Sisters of Help, The Matrons, and the Culinary Committee. She was a Kentucky Colonel and was always willing to help when called upon. She helped in rearing five generations, embracing love and God’s Word; a true Matriarch of our family.

Sister Holloman was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Sam White (1960) and John Will Holloman (2000); two daughters, Flora Louise Randolph and Betty Sue Hill; brothers and sister: Marie Hopson, Julia Edmondson, Charles Stone, Cora Moss, Lorundas T. (LT) Stone, and Hugh W. Stone; and a grandson, Mervin Gray.

She leaves to cherish her memory: three loving and devoted children: Lelia Mae Gray (Erwin) of Huntsville AL, Edward “Sonny” White (Jeanette) of Indianapolis IN, and LaShawn E. Woolfork of Providence, KY; and a sister, Ruby D. Leavell of Madisonville, KY.

Known as Granny, she leaves Tonya Louise Coleman (Arthur) of AL, Vicki Smith (Michael), Cheresa Wynn (Jeffrey), Jeffrey Randolph (Leslie) of IN, LaShawn Woolfork of KY, LaDonna Gray and Tony White of IN; Patricia M. Darnes of KY, Eulanda Kay White, Tonna Hodges of IN, and Hope Gray of AL; twenty-one great-grandchildren; ten great great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; devoted care-givers: LaShawn Woolfork and LaTosha Woolfork.
