Eric Joseph Thomas made his grand entrance into the world on October 26, 1971 and departed this life on June 2, 2018 to be with our Lord and Savior. He was 46 years old.
Eric graduated from Benjamin Bosse High School. He had many skills and worked at Sparks Construction, Heads Construction, Stanley Steemer, and T.J. Maxx Warehouse.
Eric’s first love was his family amongst the love for boxing and working out in his brother Danny T’s gym, “Rock’em Sock’em Boxing & Kickboxing.” He loved to attend his daughter’s Lil Miss Indiana modeling pageants and Cheer competitions where he was one of her “biggest fans.” If you knew Eric, you knew he was a people person who never met a stranger and always loved to joke around.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Regina R. Wright-Thomas; four daughters: Erisha, E’Asia, and Te’Erica Thomas and Shyann Barksdale – all of Evansville; one son, Derek Hunter Jr. (Joann); five brothers: Gary, Michael, Marvin Jr. (Grace), and Danny Thomas – all of Evansville, Rubin Ards of Dallas TX; one sister, Debra Thomas of Evansville; and a host of family, friends, and loved ones he leaves behind.
