Mr. Elmer Allen Jr

Elmer Allen, Jr. was born in Evansville, on August 5, 1957, to the late Elmer Allen, Sr., and Marye Williams-Allen. He departed this life on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital.
Elmer graduated from Bosse High School and went on to enlist with the U.S. National Guard where he retired after serving for more than 20 years. He worked for the City of Evansville, C.K. Newsome Center, and the Evansville Country Club.
Elmer was a quiet man with a few words, but he was kind and loveable to his family and friends. He enjoyed playing and watching basketball, and boxing and loved to ride his bike.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Whitney Allen.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a daughter, Saddigga Allen; Sisters: Valarie (Allen) Perry of Evansville, IN, and Monica (Allen) Stepter of Memphis, TN; two brothers: Kevin Tapp of Evansville, IN, and Elmer Nathaniel Allen of Indianapolis, IN; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A mask is required for both services.
