Ella Wee Kelly

Ella Wee Kelly was born on September 23, 1960 in Sharon, MS to Tommie Jessup and the late James Kelly. Ella passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was 60 years old.
Ella was a dedicated member of the Apostolic Church of God in Harrisburg, IL for several years where she served in many different capacities including the Youth and Kitchen Ministries and studied to be an Evangelist. After moving to Joliet, Ella later joined Whole Truth Church. Ella was an excellent cook who enjoyed feeding her family as well as others in need. No holiday will be the same without her pies, cobblers, and dressing.
Ella is preceded in death by, her son: Damien Kelly; nephew: Keon Kelly; grandfather: Tommie Johnson; aunt: Helen Snorton,; and mother-in-love: Gloria Lanton.
Ella leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Prentis Kelly (Chardae), and Shelley Kelly; mother: Tommie L Jessup; two sisters: Linda Kelly (Terry) and Jannifer Jenkins (Kenneth); brother: Fredrick L Kelly; 6 nephews, 2 nieces, several great nieces and nephews, and many close family members and friends
Services will be held on Saturday, March 20 at 10:00 a.m. at R. Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel, 1001 Lincoln Ave., Evansville. Walk-thru visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time. A repast will follow the service.
Masks will be required and social distancing practiced.
