Elizabeth Warren

April 4, 1949 — December 17, 2016

Elizabeth Warren, age 67, passed away December 17, 2016 at 7:45pm at Deaconess Hospice. She was born in Rolling Fork, Mississippi to Sam Hoye and Elizabeth Usher Hoye.

Elizabeth was a graduate of Rolling Fork High School. She worked as a nurse’s aide at the VA Hospital in North Chicago and retired as a dietary cook at Evansville State Hospital.

Elizabeth was a member of Trinity C.O.G.I.C. and was a member of the Mothers’ Board and church choir. She was a devoted Christian and enjoyed reading and studying the Word daily. Elizabeth loved doing puzzle books, gardening and taking care of her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and very loving family member.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a sister, and her oldest child.

She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters: Dawn Miranda Warren (Mike Johnson), Sierrah Warren, Jasmine Warren, and Charity Warren; one son, Will Young (Angela); five grandchildren: Dorron Sullivan, Re’Nelle Burris (Chris), Jaylin Sullivan, Reishon Young, and Trystyn L. Warren; two great-grandchildren; Ta’Mauri Sullivan and Royce Burris; one uncle, Logis Usher; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Services will be held Friday, December 23, 2016 at 11:00am at Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel, Evansville IN with visitation from 9:00am until service time. Burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Condolences may be left at www.masonbrothersfs.com
