Edward Leon Mosley Jr

Edward Leon Mosley Jr, 63, of Evansville transitioned on June 26, 2018. He was born in Evansville Indiana to the late Edward Sr. and Mildred Louise Mosley on August 27, 1954.

Edward Jr. attended Stanley Hall and Benjamin Bosse High School. He worked at CAPE, the CK Newsome Center, AZTAR Casino, and Zion Missionary Baptist Church (ZMBC) .

Junior took pleasure in cooking for his family and those in the neighborhood utilizing fresh fruits and vegetables from his garden which he thoroughly loved cultivating. He helped others in need, especially his parents, aunt and personal friends for which he was honored with the Caregiver Award from the Visiting Nurses Association.

Junior was also a servant of the Lord and enjoyed many activities at his church. As a 50-year+ member of ZMBC he sang with the Mighty Men of Zion Choir, volunteered for the Zion's Food Pantry and served on the Culinary Committee.. He read his Bible with passion and actively participated in Sunday School.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings: Harold, Herschel, Sandra, Larry, Kenneth and Wayne Mosley. Junior leaves to mourn his passing, his siblings: Ronnie (Marcia), Charles (Charlene), Linda, Luther, James (Debra), Cynthia (Walter) and Priscilla along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.
