Earlene Harris, age 66, of Evansville, Indiana passed away on October 9, 2018 at her home. She was born February 28, 1952 in Raydell, Arkansas to Robert and Lula Billings.
Earlene loved to cook, bake, and eat. Her passion for cooking and baking led her to a long-time position as a cook at the Red Lobster Restaurant where she was well-known. She also had a passion for on-line shopping and she collected EVERYTHING!
Earlene had a wonderful personality. It seems she never met a stranger. She was very funny and could make anyone laugh. She will be truly missed.
Earlene was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, James Harris; a sister, Lula Marie Billings; and two brothers: George Billings and Karl Billings.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two sisters: Dorothy O’Donnell and Gladys Billings; two brothers: Mitchell Billings and Bryan Billings; three step-children: James Harris, Jr., Curtis Harris, and LaQuanda Harris; and a host of nieces, nephews, a great-niece, a great-nephew, cousins, and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 1:00pm at R. Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel, 1001 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville IN. Condolences may be left at
