Earldern Kenneth Jordan was born on November 1, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois, and went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Cypress Grove Rehabilitation Center in Newburgh, Indiana.

 He was always a friend, mentor, and devoted husband and father. Earl was married to Mary Baker Black Jordan for 34 years. They became a lovely, blended family with Mary’s three children and his five. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and worked as a professional mover until his retirement. 

 Earl confessed his faith in Christ at an early age in Chicago, Illinois. When he moved to Evansville, he joined Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church. He was an active member under Reverend Larry Rascoe, Sr.'s guidance until his illness prevented him from participating. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents, the late James Rodger Jordan and Wilhelmina Gamble Jordan, his son Craig Allen Jordan, and his grandson Anthony Jordan, Sr.

 He leaves behind to carry out his legacy his wife Mary Baker Black Jordan, children, Gregory (Shirley) Callendar of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Winnetta Jordan of Henderson, Kentucky, Jerome Garland Anderson of Newburgh, Indiana, Cameo Anderson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Alhamisi (Tyrone) Griffin of Evansville, Indiana, Mariama Wilson of Evansville, Indiana, Rev. Jabali (Victoria) Black of Newburgh, Indiana; sister, June Jordan-Hall; 24 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren; and a host of special cousins, nieces, and friends.
