Dorothy Ann Joyce

Dorothy A. Joyce departed her earthly life on Friday, August 14, 2020. She was born on March 11, 1943 in Lisman, KY from the union of Lacomis C. and Dorothy D. Mason.
On August 11, 1962, she was joined in holy matrimony to James Marshall Joyce. From this union two sons and one daughter were born.
Dorothy accepted Jesus Christ at a young age at Church of God in Christ in Providence, KY under the leadership of Elder Eugene Marable.
She was a loving wife, mother, and was devoted to her church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert L. Mason; and sister, Sandra F. Scott.
She leaves behind her husband: James M. Joyce of Madisonville, KY; three beloved children, sons: James A. Joyce and Alan S. Joyce; daughter: Malishia D. (Glen) Scisney; two grandchildren: Myleah and Michael Scisney, all from Madisonville, KY; brother-in-law: Ernest (Paulette) Joyce of Madisonville; sister-in-law: Shelia Mason of Manchester, KY, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mason and Sons Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Due to COVID-19, face masks/ coverings will be required, and social distancing will be practiced.
