Donald Ray Brigham

September 24, 1973 — March 18, 2021

Donald Ray Brigham, 47, affectionately known as D.B., departed his earthly home and began his journey to a mansion prepared for him, on March 18, 2021. He was born September 24, 1973, to Mattie Turner Holland and Robert Jones. He was educated in the Evansville Vanderburgh School System.
Donald worked at various factories in Evansville throughout his career. He enjoyed playing cards and other games of chance. He loved to spend time with family and always kept everyone laughing. He took an interest in cars of all kinds, especially the old-school classic cars. His immaculate appearance was shown by the crisp crease in his pants and the way he kept his car clean at all times. Donald was definitely a “momma’s boy” and enjoyed her cooking. His baby face, gentle spirit, and sense of humor are all things that will be remembered by his loved ones.
Donald was preceded in death by his father, one grandson, his maternal grandparents, his paternal grandparents, several uncles, and aunts.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children who he loved dearly; 8 daughters: Dantara Brigham, Cassandra Compton, Damaria Brigham, Nayhasia Reed, De’Janay Brigham, Ke’Syah Brigham, Tiyanni Brigham, Zakiya Houston; 4 sons: Devontae Waddell, Donald Brigham, D’onya Bailey, De’Amontey Brigham; 3 grandchildren; mother: Mattie Turner Holland; Brothers: Robert Brigham, Mark Holland, Antwan Holland; Significant other: Te’Asia Price; special brother: Andrew Mathis; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
