Diann Robinson was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 15, 1965. She entered into glory on May 19, 2020. She was the only child from the union of the late Barbara R. Robinson (McNary) and Pete Robinson. She gave her life to Christ at an early age and was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist church under the leadership of Rev. Herman L. Watson. Diann was raised and lived in E. St. Louis, Illinois, until she moved her family to Madisonville, Kentucky in 1993.
She worked in the food service industry, helping others and attending to their needs. Diann worked until the ultimate calling of being a grandmother was bestowed upon her. She loved being a granny and it was truly her calling and reason for living. Diann found joy in being surrounded by her grandchildren. They kept her busy for sure, but she would always take time to pause and enjoy God’s creation. She loved being outdoors on a sunny day, listening to the birds sing and reading a book or listening to music.
In a life dedicated to serving others, she enjoyed spending quality time with her family and close friends, filling their hearts with laughter and fond memories. Diann was a loving mother and granny; a faithful and genuine friend to all those she encountered, she will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her father, Pete Robinson and mother, Barbara R. Robinson.
To cherish her memory, she leaves her daughters: Cheryce (Hans) and Cierra (Damien); her son: Corey (Amber); her grandchildren: Ja'Qavion, Rachel, J'Aryrius, Ja'Coria, Jy'Rese, Ja'Laysia, Jayda, Ja'Kari, Ja'Vontae, Myló, and Bra'Shea; and her great-grandchild: Xavier; along with a host of relatives and friends.
