Delores Perser Black was born on April 15, 1949, to the late William Spencer Perser and Eleanor Johnson Perser in the Bronx NY. She departed this life on August 4, 2021.
Delores was a graduate of Walton High School class of 1967. After graduation, she attended college where she received an Associate’s
Degree. She was employed at St. Anthony Medical Center in accounting, from which she retired after many years of service. She then re-located to KY
and became a CNA. Delores later taught students at Bend Gate Elementary School in Henderson, KY. An exceptional woman of God, Delores always
filled the room with positivity and encouragement. She loved doing her favorite hobbies such as shopping, traveling, and reading. She left behind
nothing but good memories, love, and wisdom as her family legacy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Rose Pitts and Marsha Perser.
Delores leaves to cherish her memory, her husband: Charles Henry Black; her devoted daughters: Sheka Bridgett Jones of Bronx, New York
and Tiffany Bridgett (Doug) Williams of Grand Prairie, TX; 3 stepchildren; siblings: Ronald Perser, Myra Perser, Carol Ray Perser; grandchildren:
Deonte Robinson, Nychole Robinson, Kendra Moye, Ciara Barbour and Yvonne House; one great-grandchild: Jayden Kyrie Robinson; and a host of nieces, cousins and friends.
Services are 11:00 Thur. Aug. 12, 2021, at Little Canaan M. B. Church with visitation from 9:00 am until service. A mask is required.
