David Eugene Williams

David Eugene Williams, 59, transitioned from Earth to Eternity on October 5, 2024. He was born to the late Lester Earl Williams and Mary Sue Thomas Williams in Madisonville, KY on February 18, 1965.

 David was educated in the Madisonville school system and played baseball in middle school. He graduated from Madisonville North Hopkins High School where he excelled in football. Upon receiving a football scholarship, David continued his football career at Murray State University. After college, he received his CDL and became a truck driver. Throughout his 32-year career, he worked for many companies, the most recent being Delgado Trucking Company at the time of his passing.

 In his leisure time, David enjoyed watching football and baseball games and going fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Robert Earl Williams, Marie (Sister Baby) Williams, and Quarnail Thomas.

 David is survived by his wife, Lerissa Williams; daughter, LaShea Rudolph; stepchildren, Chasity Holman, and Bishop Martin; brothers, Howard Williams, and Hugh Williams; 5 nephews, 4 nieces, 7 great nephews, 1 great niece, and a host of family and friends.
