Dalwone Christopher Moore

It is with great sadness that the family of Dal’wone Christopher Moore (Delly) announces his passing on October 30, 2024, at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville, surrounded by family.

 Dal’wone was born December 4, 1984, in Madisonville, Kentucky, to the late Faye Etta Moore and Barry Matchem. He accepted Christ early on and was a St. James Missionary Baptist Church member in Barnsley, Kentucky under Pastor Bill Stafford. Dal’wone worked as a car salesman for over 20 years. He was a devoted father and greatly loved his children, friends, and family, and he enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, and joining his friend to play Bingo. Dal’wone will forever be remembered by all who knew him for his kind heart, infectious laugh, and smile, and the love that he showed to everyone he met.

 In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Christopher Columbus Moore; grandmother/mother, Dorothy Mae Moore; grandmother, Agnes L. Frazier; grandfather, Barry L. Frazier; brother, DJ Johnson; and sister, Latrise Johnson.

He leaves behind to cherish loving memories his wife Laura Elaine Moore; children, Christopher Moore, Jayda Smith, Kilee Moore, and Koby Moore; his father Barry S. Matchem (Tina); brothers, Benjamin Moore (Tracey), Tavares Moore (Jeremy), Aaron Johnson, and Lance Johnson; sisters Tiffany McNeal (Perrone), Melissa Gaither, and Ashley Starks, Sonya Johnson; aunts/sisters Stella White and Doris Moore; aunts Vicki Herman and Joyce Tidwell; uncle/brother Steven Moore; uncles, Herman Long, Ronnie Tidwell, and Dantry Matchem and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
