Claude Edward “Tink” Woodruff was born December 28, 1943 in Chicago, IL to the late Ramona Thompson and James Woodruff.
Claude professed his love to Christ at an early age. After serving time in the Armed Forces, Tink moved to Henderson, KY where he met the love of his life. Tink never missed a birthday and made sure each one was announced on the radio. He loved UK basketball and playing lottery tickets.
He is preceded in death by his parents; aunts: Carolyn Thompson, Charlene Thompson, and Delorise Thompson; uncles: George Thompson, Jr., Harold Thompson, and Kenneth Thompson.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of over 32 years: Carolyn Woodruff; daughter: Jeanette Davis of Chicago, IL; grandson: Charles Davis of Chicago, IL; stepson: Michael Butler; aunts: Bernie Thompson, Genea Thompson, and Grace Thompson; sister-in-law: Doralene Green; brother-in-law: Nathaniel Butler; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
