Clara S. Bowling

Clara Scheneil Bowling was born to R.T. and Clarice Bowling on February 24, 1948. She departed this life on September 20, 2024, at Morganfield Rehabilitation Center in Morganfield, KY. She accepted Christ at an early age and graduated from Sacramento High School in 1966. Clara was a stay-at-home mom who raised her 2 sons. She loved to play cards with her children and enjoyed watching movies on television. In addition to her parents, Clara is preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Gott. Clara leaves to cherish her memory, 2 sons, Henry Bowling and Robert Bowling, both of Owensboro, KY; 3 grandchildren, Robert Bowling, Jr. of Jackson, TN, Ryan Bowling of Owensboro, KY, and Anantay Cleveland (Nick) of Indianapolis, IN; great-grandson, Axel Bowling; siblings, Mary Webb, Sandra Bowling, Lula S. Collins (Robert), Drucilla Eades, John Bowling all of Providence, KY, Linda Dykes, R.T. Bowling both of Owensboro, KY, Moses Bowling (Gwen) of Dalton, IL, Steve Bowling of Henderson, KY, Jerry Bowling (Christa) of Sacramento, KY; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and 2 very special friends from the nursing home, Brittney Edwards, and Tonya Everhart. Services are at noon on September 28, 2024, at Simpson Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Providence with visitation from 10 a.m. until service. Burial in the Cumberland Hill cemetery. Mason & Sons Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
