CHRISTINE, (mom, mama, granny, granny Chris, great granny) TERRY WAGNER 98, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Brentwood Center with her family at her side.

Born July 18, 1924, the only child of the late Pearlyn Clark. Christine was married to the late William Wagner Sr. She professed her life to Christ at an early age and was baptized in the Ohio River. She was a devoted member of Memorial Baptist Church, where she served as a choir member and on the Nurses Guild, until her illness.

Ms. Chris as she was also called, was a friend to many, a straight shooter, and a blessing to all she met. She worked at the McCurdy Hotel, White Swan laundry, Holiday Nursing Home, St. Mary’s Hospital, and at CAPE as a FOSTER GRANDMA.

Christine was predeceased by her daughter: Doris Goss; sons: William Phil Wagner Jr. and Frederick Wagner.

She is survived by her children, whom she loved: James (Deborah) Wagner, Patricia Maddox, Donna Wagner, Keith (Rajean) Wagner, and David (Constance) Wagner; Son-in-law Alton Goss Jr.; 16 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She will truly be missed.

Celebration of Life will be 11 am Friday, March 10, 2023, at Memorial Baptist Church 605 Canal St. Evansville, In. Rev. Dr. Adrian M. Brooks Sr., Pastor. Public viewing 5 pm - 7 pm Thursday, March 9, 2023 at R. Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel and Friday 9 am - until service time at the church.
