Charlotte Jones

Charlotte A Jones was born October 31, 1938 in Mayfield, KY to the late Waymon C. Jones, S. and Jettie Waddy Jones. She departed this life on Monday, November 21, 2016.
She was a graduate of Dunbar High School. She was a member of St. James A.M.E. Church in Pryorsburg, KY where she served on the Stewardess Board. She retired from Jackson Purchase Medical Center in the Dietary Department. She was a former Girl Scout leader and worked at the Graves County Senior Citizen Center.
Charlotte leaves to cherish her memory, one son: Louis Thomas; two daughters: Lillie Taylor and Belinda Arnold all of Mayfield KY; one brother: Ridley (Angela) Jones, Englewood, OH; three sisters: Earlie Mae Jones, Paducah, KY, Gwendolyn Garmon, Marion, IN and Geneva (Larry) Wade, Rutherford, TN; six grand-children, eight great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, two sisters and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, November 26, 2016, 11:00 am at St. James A.M.E. Church in Mayfield, KY followed by the service at 1:00 pm at the church. Masons Memorial Chapel in Mayfield, KY is entrusted with funeral arrangements.
