Charlotte E. Anderson

Charlotte Anderson passed away peacefully on July 15th, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. She was born on September 29th, 1946, to parents, Charles Fykes and Corine Fykes. Charlotte graduated from Central High School in 1964 and Lockyear Business College in 1966. She then moved to Milwaukee where she worked at Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee for 20 years. During her time living in Milwaukee, she attended Ebenezer Church of God in Christ. Charlotte moved back to Evansville and worked at The Community Action Program of Evansville until she retired.
Besides spending time with her friends and family, Charlotte loved going to church. She attended Watkins Temple Church of God in Christ for many years. Charlotte had a beautiful spirit and touched the lives of many people. She will forever be missed.
Charlotte is survived by her loving husband of 24 years: Thomas Anderson; son: Charleston (Rashidah) Garrett; grandchildren: Charleston (CJ) Garrett Jr. and Ra’Deja Johnson; ; brother: Gordon (Joyce ) Fykes; nephews: Gordon (Rhonda ) Fykes Jr., and Brian Ellis; nieces: Carmen Fykes Baugh, Deanna Ellis and Joye Thomas; brother in Law: Charlie Anderson; sisters in law: Georgia Anderson and Deloris Anderson; special friends: Deloris Moorehead, Gonzella Brooks, and Carol Montague; and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
