Charles M. Reed

Charles Reed, age 75, departed this life at 8:10am on Sunday, October 11, 2015. He was born on February 23, 1940 to Juanita Smith and Jack Reed in Drakesboro KY.

Charles was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing and hunting. He accepted Christ at an early age and attended Greater St. James Missionary Baptist Church.


Charles was preceded in death by his mother and father.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joan Reed; one son, Cedric Reed (Shannon); two brothers: John Reed (Sharon) and Alphonso Reed; one sister, Gloria Reed; four grand-daughters: Brittney, Tyreka, Brianna, and Bianca; two great grandsons: Kordavion and Khishaun; one niece, Monique Mayo; and one nephew, Travis Bridges who he helped to raise. He leaves to mourn his death, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
