Charles Vernon Coleman was born on June 4, 1940, to the union of Nealer (Peyton) Coleman and Ceazer Coleman in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana. He was the seventh child. He passed away quietly on July 28, 2024, after a lengthy illness.

Charles and Lorise were blessed with one child, Vernon Coleman who preceded him in death. Charles was employed at Sonoco for over 25 years and retired after a long career as an AC Technician in 2003.
