Carolyn J. Malone, born on September 9, 1948, in Madisonville, KY, to the late George and Everlyn Cook, peacefully departed from this world surrounded by love. She accepted Christ at an early age while attending Eastview Baptist Church in Madisonville.
Carolyn's journey led her to Louisville, KY, where she created a joyful life filled with laughter and cherished moments spent with family and friends. She had a deep passion for dancing, often participating in dance contests alongside her brother, George. Whether playing Bingo or trying her luck at slot machines, she always approached life with fun and enthusiasm. Carolyn was known for her warm greetings, often saying, “God Bless You, I Love You,” to those she met.
In addition to her parents and husband, Earnest Malone, who precedes her in death, Carolyn is reunited in spirit with her daughter, Tawana Hamblem, and siblings Vanna Berry, JoAnn Parker, Clarissa Barrett, John Lester Cook, Jr., Turner Cook, Clarence Cook, Lotta M. Cook- Wilson, and Emma Cook.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Rhonda Cook and Tameka (DuWayne) Moore; her brother, George (Renee) Cook; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Carolyn's life was a testament to love, joy, and faith, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
