Bunk Ellis Conner

Bunk E. Conner, affectionately called Uncle Bunk, was born in Evansville, Indiana on November 19, 1977 to Lawrence W. Carter and JoAnn Conner .

Bunk had battled an illness since he was 11 years old and his life expectancy was not to extend past 24 years old. In that extended time, he was blessed to have his one and only son, Cartier, who was the joy of his life. His sister, Selene, had raised him like a son.

Bunk was preceded in death by his father: Lawrence Carter; mother: JoAnn Conner; brother: Timothy Wayne; grandfathers: Bunk Ellis Carter and Joshua Conner; and grandmothers Mary E. (Blue) Carter and Bessie R. Cook.

He leaves to cherish his memory son: Cartier Conner; sisters: Georgianna Walker, Melissa Clardy, Selene M. Compton (who raised him like a son), and Ollie Wing; brothers: Lawrence E. Carter, Calandra G. Carter, William D. Carter, and Radford Youngblood, Jr.; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and plenty of friends.
