Ms. Brenda Joyce Jones Drake, born June 16, 1955, to Charles and Julia Jones in Madisonville, KY, went to eternal rest on Sunday, October 10, 2021. Brenda graduated from Madisonville High School. She worked at Regional Medical
Center for 25 years as a Nurse’s Aide and Versnick Health Care in the Dietary Department.
Brenda attended Zion Temple A.M.E Zion Church. She loved to sew, cook, and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, Norraj and Jarron Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Julia Andrews Jones; and brothers Ronald, Bruce, Darryl, Robert and George Jones.
Brenda leaves her cherished memories to her husband: Bradley Drake; son: Tim (Lori) Logan of Charleston, SC; daughter: Britney (Jarron) Ramsey of Madisonville, KY; grandchildren: Brittany, Tymoree, Norraj and Jarron Jr; sisters: Theresa Palmer of Madisonville, KY and Pamela Jones Montgomery of Sumter, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside Service is 3:00 pm Saturday, October 16, 2021. Burial in Westside Oddfellows. Mason & Sons is entrusted with arrangements.
