Beverly Jones, born October 19, 1967 in Oxford, Mississippi to Hilda Jones Black, passed away on January 23, 2022.
She accepted Christ at a young age at St. James Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. Beverly graduated in the Central High School Class of 1986. Beverly worked at TJ Maxx and then went to work at PPG for many years.
Beverly enjoyed having fun, spending time with her children and grandsons, and enjoyed being around family. Beverly also loved relaxing, watching NCIS, and watching football on Sundays with her brother. She was a big Colts fan. Beverly had a smile that would light up a room and a personality that never met a stranger.
Beverly leaves to cherish her memories her mother: Hilda Black; stepfather: Lawrence Black; sisters: Donna (Nevada) Malone and Chantilly Jones both of Indianapolis; brother: Floyd Malone of Evansville; children: Tyreka (Jarard) Reed, Christopher Langley, Jr.; grandchildren: Kordavion, Ki’Shaun, and Jaxon; special sister-in-law: Alzie Malone; godson: Darius Henderson; and a host of nieces and nephews who affectionately and always respectfully called her “Aunt Pep”. She also leaves many family and friends who will miss her and a special cousin (with whom she was as thick as thieves with), Linda Turner.
Masks and social distancing will be required at all services.
