Beatrice Maria Johnson

Beatrice Maria Johnson, 55, of Evansville IN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at her home. She was born April 10, 1961 in Evansville IN to Donald and Joyce Dixon.

Beatrice was a member of First Ebenezer Baptist Church. After graduating high school and completing some college courses, Beatrice spent most of her time as a homemaker.

Beatrice was a very straight forward and loving individual which attracted her to so many. She loved her children, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and all of her friends and family with all her heart.

Beatrice is survived by her husband, Dennis Johnson of Evansville IN; son, Rashodd Johnson of Evansville IN; daughter, Dawn Johnson of Atlanta GA; grandchildren: Kyle Hudson and Kennedy Thomas of Atlanta GA, and Adonis Johnson of Evansville IN; sisters: Deborah Hunter of Evansville IN, Shan Gibson of Detroit MI, Sherri McGee of San Diego CA, and Jo Denise Kyser of Detroit MI; brothers: Rodney Dixon of Evansville IN, Donald Dixon of Evansville IN, Kim Dureson of Evansville IN, Fredrick Dureson of Evansville IN, Bryan Keith Gibson of Detroit MI, and Ronald Gibson of Detroit MI; nephews: Bryan Keith Johnson and Jolan Hunter who she loved as if they were her own; and a host of other nephews, nieces, family and friends that she loved dearly.

Services are Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 1:00pm at Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel, 1001 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville IN with visitation from 11:00am until service time at the funeral home. Condolences may be left at www.masonbrothersfs.com
